“CCBQ’s Community Program Services, Elmhurst Hospital Center and Resurrection Ascension RC Church in Rego Park hosted the annual Health and Social Service Fair after Sunday masses.  Over 150 parishioners and community members received a wealth of information and resources in addition to having blood pressure, depression and hearing screenings done.  The Masons provided child and senior photo safety ID cards. Catholic Charities was well represented by Walk In Center, WIC, Homebase, Behavioral Health services, Geriatric Initiative, Senior Centers and Community Program Services. Other organizations represented were SmartEMS, NY Life, Catholic Migration Services, Clear Captions,  Life Way, Sunnyside Community Services, Healthcare Education Project and NYC programs including  Early Intervention Program, Child Support Outreach, OEM,  HPD and SNAP. Special thanks to Fidelis Care for providing lunch for our volunteers and organizations in attendance.”

THANK YOU ….. to Catholic Charities and Dr. Pilar Gonzales & Dr. Marlon Brewer of Elmhurst Hospital for putting together such an informative Health Fair for our Parish on Sunday, October 22, 2017.  We are grateful to all the volunteers who dedicated their time taking vision & hearing tests, supplying lunch, taking blood pressure, and providing information about the many services that are available throughout Queens regarding domestic violence, home restoration, health insurance, and services for the youth and elderly.  Over 150 people attended this event and received a lot of useful information.  Here are some photos from this year:
